Staff Advisory Council
The Staff Advisory Council serves in an advisory capacity to the Dean. The council meets at least once each semester during the academic year to discuss matters brought forth by the staff.
The council is composed of five full-time staff members: one from each department, one from the Dean's Office, and two At-large members. Members are elected by ballot of benefits-eligible staff within the College of Pharmacy in the early part of the fall semester of every other year. Members serve a two-year term. The positions of Chair and Secretary of the Council are filled by elections from among the five members of the Council, and each serves for a term of one year.
The chair serves as an ex-officio member of the Faculty Advisory Council, and the Chair of the Faculty Advisory Council serves as an ex-officio member of the Staff Advisory Council.
The Council reports to the Dean at least once each semester.
