IT provides computer accounts to UH faculty, staff, and students enrolled in classes for the purpose of supporting instructional, research, and administrative activities.

ADMIN and myUH (PeopleSoft) accounts are used by faculty and staff who require access to enterprise systems.
Instructional or class accounts are used by students and teaching/research assistants for classes where computer accounts are required for instruction.
Static, or fixed, IP addresses can be assigned for devices that require them, such as on-campus networked printers and servers.
Sponsored accounts are temporary accounts given to a person not affiliated with UH for the purpose of accessing UH computing resources.
Strong passwords are recommended for all of your accounts.
Web server accounts are available to UH faculty, researchers, and staff members, as well as UH departments and organizations, for the purpose of publishing information on
www.uh.edu.
