Description

Cisco VPN enables you to establish secure, end-to-end encrypted communication to the UH campus. To do this, VPN access policies and configurations are downloaded from the central UH gateway and pushed to your VPN software.

NOTE: After installing on Vista/Windows 7, you may need to IMPORT the enclosed UHVPN.pcf file to setup the UH VPN servers.

For Windows 64-bit users, VPN is built into the operating system if you wish to configure the internal program.

Site License

The University of Houston does not have a site license for Cisco VPN. A personal license is free and available for download via this website.
