Note: This story may not be current. It is part of the IT News Archive, and exists as a historical document.
On Sunday, August 16, 2009, Vernier authentication will be turned back on for the UHWireless access points on campus. Access to UHWireless will unavailable between 10 a.m. and 12 noon while the work is being performed.
Afterwards, you'll need to log in using your CougarNet account to access UHWireless.
To log in to use UHWireless for wireless ("wi-fi") access on campus,
- select UHWireless as the access point,
- open a web browser,
- at the UHWireless login screen, login using your CougarNet userid and password.
If you don't have a CougarNet account, you can use the UHGuest account (userid UHGuest, password UHGuest (case-sensitive)) for accessing web pages.
Wireless authentication had been turned off recently in order to resolve some technical issues.
