Early Awnings is an installation of sculptures, drawings, and sound conceived as a multi-dimensional platform for story-telling. Taking inspiration from the visual language of the cosmic horror genre, Bohl creates a series of drawings that turn everyday realities into otherworldly monsters and form the basis for an audio play developed in collaboration with Tcherepnin and students from UHs Creative Writing Program.
The Powerhouse campaign is expected to tally more than 65,000,000 impressions through print, online, video, billboards, digital elevator screens, signs and banners at Houston’s airports, email and social media now through spring 2015.
