The Program Coordinator will explain the process of certification and will help you identify career goals and interests to help you make the best decisions and plan. The Program Coordinator will assist you in enrolling in the UH program and online with the national American Humanics organization as a student pursuing certification through the University of Houston.
Fees and costs of the program:
UH Fees:
- Students pay a one-time fee of $50.00 upon enrollment
- The program fee of $50 is assessed each year you are enrolled beginning at the time of enrollment and in the Fall semester each year you continue.
Student Dues:
When you enroll in the certification program, you automatically become a member of the American Humanics Student Association (AHSA). The AHSA is a student-driven organization and actively participates in planning and delivery of the experiential requirements, gaining skills and networking with future colleagues or employers along the way. AHSA dues are $15 in the Fall Semester and in the Spring Semester or $30 each year. This check is made out directly to the AHSA and is used for special AHSA events or community service projects.
