Mandatory Training

New Hire Training

  • New Employees will receive an Email when they can access the Mandatory New Hire Training
  • Training must be completed within 30 days of the hire date
  • The New Hire Training consists of 5 online courses

Mandatory Training

  • In accordance with the Texas Labor Code, §21.010, all State of Texas employees are required to complete annual training
  • HR will send out notifications regarding Mandatory Training
  • The training consists of multiple online courses
  • Mandatory training is one of the requirements for Merit
  • Mandatory training requirements for employees on leave

Campus Programs for Minors

  • SAM 05.C.01 – Campus Programs for Minors
  • All Employees within the departments of Student Affairs, Athletics and the Charter School are required to complete the online course: Child Protection Training (HH1305)

Finance Training

  • Depending on your position at the University of Houston, certain Financial trainings will be required
  • The trainings consists of classroom and online courses
  • Required Online Finance Training

Online Courses

  • Individuals can enroll via PASS
  • The course is accessed via Employee Training on AccessUH 24-48 hours after registration
