WHERE AM I GOING?
WHERE DO I PARK?
Your NEC email will include parking instructions for your first day. You may also want to review the following sites:
WHAT TIME DO WE START AND WHAT ARE WE DOING TODAY?NEC will begin at 9:00 am but we recommend arriving no later than 8:30 so you can have your photo taken for your staff ID card (Cougar Card). The official NHO program will begin at 9:00. You will learn about UH policies, benefits, and perks. Speakers from different UH departments will tell you about services and resources available to you as a UH employee.
WHAT ABOUT LUNCH?You have two options for lunch: You will be given a complimentary lunch coupon for one of our residential hall restaurants (your lunch card will be valid for a year). You may also choose to visit one of our many dining services options on campus; dining services at the University Center will be your closest option during your lunch break.
