About UH Employee Files

The HR Records Office keeps confidential personnel records on all UH employees. These records can be viewed by the individual employee by appointment with Billy Taylor. Please be aware that employee files cannot be taken from the HR Records office.

An official employee file may contain the following:

  • Original resume, CV or employment application
  • Offer letters
  • Employment/Hiring forms
  • Signed appointment contracts
  • Performance reviews
  • Disciplinary notices
  • Additional compensation forms
  • Requests to perform consulting or other paid professional service
If you need to see an employee record for someone other than yourself, please contact the Office of the General Counsel for information about how to submit an Open Records Act request.
