The University of Houston System component Human Resources departments are excited to announce the latest endeavor to improve process efficiencies with the move from paper to electronic forms for Time Reporting and Absence Management (TRAM).
Over this past year the UHS Human Resources and IT departments have been working to develop the PeopleSoft system-wide payroll initiative that will roll out training to the respective campuses starting in March and finalizing full implementation in May. The new reporting system will require all bi-weekly employees to clock in and out by either a web clock or a time collection device referred to as Time Reporting. It will also require all benefits-eligible employees to request time away from work electronically – referred to as Absence Management. Located in PASS these two processes together make up Time Reporting and Absence Management (TRAM) and will eliminate paper timesheet and paper leave requests.
You will start to receive TRAM communications that will include updates, timelines and training schedules. Please pay close attention to this important information because it is how employees will report their time and get paid correctly.
