University of Houston's SURF 2012 Program
The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) 2012 program is in full swing. This year we have a record number 56 summer undergraduate researchers, and they are busy spending their summers conducting a wide range of interesting projects under the guidance of their faculty mentors. The University of Houston's Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship is proudly sponsored by the Office of Undergraduate Research and The Honors College.
Introducing the 2012 SURF'ers and their field of research.
Each Wednesday, we host a Brown Bag Lecture Series for SURF participants. This is an opportunity for OUR students to learn more about research ethics, applying to graduate and professional school, creating a research poster, and much, much more. Here is a listing of the SURF 2012 Lecture Series.
SAVE THE DATE: OUR SURFers will present posters on their research projects at Undergraduate Research Day, which will take place on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 4 p.m. in the Rockwell Pavilion.
