The Office of Undergraduate Research at the University of Houston organizes, facilitates, and enhances opportunities for students interested in conducting undergraduate research. The office is housed in The Honors College, but serves undergraduates from all colleges and disciplines.
Undergraduate research is one activity that cuts across the traditional lines of education and research and presents a significant opportunity for development in shaping the future characteristics of urban research institutions. The office allows undergraduates to make a difference in their fields, and form strong mentor relationships with faculty members in their disciplines.
