Honors College Career Corner

The Honors College prepares students for the real world through a challenging and well-balanced curriculum. Students learn the skills they need for professional success, the how and when to apply them, and get every advantage preparing for the job market, securing a summer internship or competing for academic awards and fellowships.

Honors sponsors Career Fridays on the first Friday of each month to prepare students for the transition from college to the professional world. Through Career Fridays and other events, students are able to meet and talk with various industries' experts on the skills and attributes most sought after in the job market.

Career Fridays events are announced via the Honors student listserve.

Students interested in competitive academic awards and fellowships should also contact the Office of Undergraduate Research for assistance.
