Honors Biology courses are interactive and foster the development of critical reasoning. Honors Introduction to Biological Science and Honors 
Genetics are taught by Dr. Newman. These courses include writing assignments that are designed to stimulate in-depth analysis of some of the topics covered. Dr. Newman also organizes the Colloquium for Undergraduate Research in Biology, which provides students who are doing research with the opportunity to share their findings with other interested students.
