The Honors College Faculty : Jacqueline Hunsicker
Jacqueline Hunsicker is a Post Doctoral Teaching Fellow in the Honors College. Her training is in public/constitutional law and political theory. Hunsicker has recently completed and defended a doctoral dissertation on the problem of constitutional veneration, revising the concept of Madisonian veneration to be more critical in scope. The basic aim of the project is to argue that people become better citizens by first revering their government and then thinking about it in a more reasoned way using their critical faculties.
Hunsicker has an article forthcoming in History of Political Thought on Machiavelli. (Ph.D., University of Texas)
