Mothers for Clean Air Earth Day 5K

MacGregor Park near the University of Houston

Golden Key will be working with Mothers for Clean Air, a local non-profit and advocate of better air quality in Houston, on Saturday, April 19, 2008 during their annual Earth Day 5K. We will need volunteers to staff the event or individuals and teams to participate in the race.

Volunteers needed for:
1) Parking-lot Attendants (to direct traffic) -- this is a very important position and needs to be someone who is self-sufficient and outgoing.
2) Mile-Split Callers: we're looking for outgoing adults or teens
3) Water Station Attendants (10 per station, good for groups) -- you will stand at stations on course and hand water to runners
4) Registration -- very important; we need well-organized adults

For those who cannot participate on the race day, but would like to get involved, Pamela will have other pre-race activities you can help out with (i.e. packet stuffing, packet pickup).
