Tests & Placement

You will be required to fulfill two separate testing requirements before you can register for Orientation.

• Texas Success Initiative (TSI): Learn how to pass this requirement.
• Math Placement Exam: Learn how to pass this requirement. TSI Exemption does not exempt you from the Math Placement Exam.

Log into the Orientation/Courseware portal to check your status.

Students who score below the minimum passing level on one or more sections of the initial assessment test are required to enroll in appropriate developmental education course/s as assigned by an advisor in the UScholars Division. You will meet with your advisor at Orientation.
