Major Jim Horn is an Airborne Infantry Officer with over 16yrs of service.  He earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics from West Point and a Masters Degree in International Relations from the Naval War College in Newport, RI.  He also served as a Naval Strategic Studies Fellow developing concepts of warfare using the electromagnetic spectrum.  MAJ Horn served on the front lines for the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 and completed five additional deployments totaling over 36mo in Iraq, 9mo in Afghanistan and 6mo in Qatar.  He has trained with armies across the Middle East, the Baltic States, and Ukraine. His awards and decorations include 5 Bronze Star Medals, 3 Meritorious Service Medals, 2 Army Commendation Medals, Master-rated Parachutist, Ranger qualified, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Expert Infantryman Badge.

CPT Ricardo Bolanos

CPT Bolanos began his military career on August 4, 1997 as an Enlisted Soldier He attended Infantry Basic training at Ft. Benning, Georgia. CPT Bolanos was selected for Direct Commission when he was a Sergeant First Class. He attended Basic Officer Leader Course to become a Finance Officer.

CPT Bolanos has held the following positions: 60mm Gunner, Mortar Section Squad Leader, Finance NCO, Budget NCO, G8 NCOIC, Budget Officer for 1 st BDE 75 th Division and the Aide De Camp for BG McQueen the Commander of 1BCTB, Commander of the 413 th Financial Management Support Detachment, Commander of the 398 th Financial Management Support Detachment, Executive Officer for HHC 374 th Financial Management Support Unit and Commander of the 374 th Financial Management Support Unit. Currently he is serving as the Executive Officer for Houston Army ROTC Program.

CPT Bolanos successfully deployed to:
Panama for Jungle Training and served as the OPFOR element
Thailand for Cobra Gold to cross train with the Thai Army
Coalition Military Assistant Training Team (CMATT) in IRAQ
ODT Mission to Guatemala for Commercial Vendor Service (CVS) Support

CPT Edwards grew up in Dallas Texas.  He was commissioned as a 2LT in the US Army Signal Corps upon graduation from Texas Christian University in 2006.  CPT Edwards’ professional career centers on Telecommunications and Networking Management, working with strategic and tactical assets across the world.  He has served multiple overseas assignments to include, Iraq, Afghanistan and Japan, providing secure and reliable voice and data services to Soldiers, Civilians and Host Local Nationals.  

CPT Edwards holds certification in Security Plus, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). CPT Edwards assumed duties as the Assistant Professor of Military Science at the University of Houston in August 2015.

Captain Leo Fischer is an Army Infantry Officer with over 7 years of service. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point and recently served as a Rifle Company Commander in the 101 st Airborne (Air Assault) Division. Captain Fischer’s overseas service includes a 12 month tour to Iraq and Kuwait in 2011 in support of Operation New Dawn and Operation Spartan Shield.

CPT Kyle A. Morgan was born and raised in Colton, California. He enlisted in the United States Army in June 2004 as an Air Defense Tactical Operations Center Operator. He gained acceptance to the United States Military Academy at West Point during his first year of service, and commissioned as an Air Defense Artillery Officer in May 2009.

For the past eight years, CPT Morgan has served in a myriad of positions within the Patriot Air Defense System at Fort Bliss, TX, including three deployments to the Middle East in defense of critical U.S. assets. Prior to his current assignment as an Assistant Professor of Military Science, he commanded a Patriot Air Defense Battery consisting of 74 Soldiers.

CPT Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point. His awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary & Service Medals, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Parachutist Badge, and Air Assault Badge.

He is happily married to his high school sweetheart, Sarrah, and is currently in the process of adopting children from the state of Texas.

MSG Duane R. Wells is a native of Broken Bow, OK. He enlisted in the Army in May of 1995 where he attended One Station Unit Training as an Infantryman at Ft. Benning, GA. serving in 2nd Battalion 75th Ranger Regiment, 1st battalion 5th Infantry Regiment 25th Inf. Brigade SBCT at Ft Lewis WA., and 6th Ranger Training Battalion at Camp Rudder, FL, Calvary Scout Platoon Sergeant in the 1st squadron 32nd Calvary Regiment in the 101st Air Assault Ft. Campbell, KY, First Sergeant of a Bradley Company with 1st Battalion 72nd  Armor Battalion in Korea, First Sergeant of a Heavy Weapons Company in 1st BN 502D in the 101st Air Assault Ft. Campbell, Ky. MSG Wells has served as a rifleman, grenadier, Automatic Rifleman  and a weapons team leader, and a rifle team leader, Infantry Squad Leader and Weapons Squad Leader, Infantry Scout Team Leader, Ranger Instructor, Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant and Currently serving as the Senior Military Instructor for the University of Houston.

He is a Graduate of Jungle Operations Training Center, Airborne, Air Assault, Ranger, Pathfinder, Jumpmaster, Basic Demolitions, Advanced Breacher Course, Master Resilience Trainer Course.

He Participated in Operation Iraqi Freedom 3, Multinational Force Observer 38 Sinai, Egypt, And Operation Enduring Freedom 11 and 15 in Afghanistan.
His awards and decorations include Bronze Stars with 3 Oak Leaf Cluster, Meritorious Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, Army Achievement medal with 1 Silver Oak Leaf Cluster,  Army Good Conduct Medal 6th Award, Multinational Force Observer Medal, National Defense Service Medal 2nd Award, Global War on terrorism and Campaign Medals, Overseas Service Ribbon, Non Commissioned Officer Development Ribbon with Numeral 3, Meritorious Unit Award, Valorous Unit Award. 1SG Wells additionally earned the Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Pathfinder’s Badge, Air Assault Badge, German, Chilean, and Ecuadorian Army Parachutist Badges and the Ranger Tab.

SFC Davidson began his military career on August 5, 1997 as an Enlisted Soldier. He attended Armor Basic training at Ft. Knox, Kentucky

SFC Davidson has held the following positions: Tank Driver, Tank Loader, Tank Gunner, and Tank Commander while stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, Camp Casey, Korea and Schofield barracks, Hawaii. He served as an Army Recruiter at Davenport, Iowa and also as an Instructor at the Advanced Leader Course at Fort Benning, Georgia. He also served as a Platoon Sergeant and Company First Sergeant at Fort Lewis, Washington for Headquarters and Headquarters Company 1-23 Infantry. Currently he is serving as a Military Instructor for Houston Army ROTC Program.

SFC Davidson successfully deployed to:
Camp Taji, Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom
Thailand, Korea, and Philippines in support of Pacific Pathways and increase readiness through Partnership
