How to Apply to the LCC
It is strongly urged that students applying for admission from outside the United States submit their application documents to the Language and Culture Center office no later than 6 weeks prior to the start of the term. This will allow sufficient time for the Language and Culture Center to prepare and mail the I-20 form, and for the student to apply for the F-1 student visa at the United States consulate or embassy in his or her country.

2. Apply by Mail
Fill out an application form completely, attach a passport-size photograph, and submit the required documents. A complete list of documents required by the LCC can be found here.
3. Apply in Person
Applicants who are already in the Houston area may go in person to room 116 Roy Cullen Building on the University of Houston campus for further information or to fill out application forms.
For transfer students
Please fill out the LCC Transfer Form and send or fax it together with your application.

To have a Language and Culture Center Brochure and Application mailed to you or your organization, simply send us the information listed below. There are no charges for this service (there is, however, an application fee for processing completed applications). We reserve the right to limit the quantity of applications sent by mail.
