NSSHLA Students Visit the Texas Capitol

NSSLHA paid a visit to the Texas Capitol on February, 20th, 2015 to discuss important topics with state legislators, including: maintaining current and continuing regulation through licensure and professional board, supporting loan repayment for graduate education for those choosing to work in Texas public schools and for doctoral level faculty who teach in Texas university communication disorders programs, and last but certainly not least, supporting legislation that ensures all Texans in need have access to high-quality speech-language pathology and audiology services!
