Melissa Bruce and Patti Reed Present at Southeast Texas Speech, Language, and Hearing Association

The day long workshop, "Help, I have a Fluency Case: Hands On Ways to Treat Fluency in the School Setting," was hosted in Beaumont on February 23, 2013 by the Southeast Texas Speech, Language, and Hearing Association. The 30 participants learned methods to treat stuttering across the age range in the public school setting, how to treat stuttering cases grouped with students presenting other disorders, and the application of previous experiences and knowledge and new knowledge to augment their intervention with children who stutter.
