Youth Camps

Summer programs and camps offer a variety of activities to students of all ages. Summer camps are a great way to make new friends, explore new interests and develop character.

Blaffer Summer Arts Program

A highly popular Summer Arts program giving children the opportunity to make art inspired by the museum's summer exhibitions. Parents have the choice to enroll their children in one or both of the two-week sessions. For ages 6 to 12. Visit Blaffer's website for more information. 

Cougar Band Camp

A five day music camp for middle school and high school age students with the option to board on campus or commute daily. Offering elective choices of Chamber Music, Conducting, Introduction to Classical Music, Introduction to Jazz, Jazz Ensemble, Leadership Training, Learning other Instruments, Music in Entertainment, Music Theory, Writing Music on the Computer, Drumline and Percussion Ensemble (percussionists only). Preparatory & Continuing Studies

This program facilitates exemplary music education in the form of private instruction, professional development, and community outreach. Students range in age and ability from toddlers and preschoolers to senior citizens, and beginners to professional musicians. Visit PCS' website for more information.

Theatre DECK

Offered to fifth ward elementary school students for four weeks in June. Students will discover the power of the performing arts through music, puppetry, playwriting and dance. Visit School of Theatre and Dance's website for more information

Texas Music Festival

Young Artist Series: Admission to all Young Artist Series is free. Festival participants have a chance to shine in these Houston summer concerts. Visit TMF's website for more information.
