Hallyu Club Weeks of Welcome

Hallyu Club welcomes you with open arms with our Weeks of Welcome filled with a variety of activities for everyone to enjoy! Your interest in Korean culture and entertainment is what brings all of us together to relieve some stress. Starting off is our bake sale between the Student Center South and Student Center North from 11 AM to 4PM for a quick bite and some time in between to get to know us more. Followed by that is the Dance Workshop directed by our Dance Director! No experience required, just your body and your passion to express yourselves! Our liberation day social would be straight after the Dance workshop for even more fun. We're all about friendships, community, and the love of Korean culture!

Come meet the members of Alpha Rho Chi: Cleisthenes Chapter, the professional organization for those studying architecture and the allied arts (including engineering and fine arts) for a night of competitive fun!

Director's Faculty Artist Series: Samuel Barber Tribute

Curated by Timothy Hester The Moores School of Music will celebrate the music of Samuel Barber (1910-1981), the gifted American Composer who infused expressive romantic lyricism into 20th-century classical music. Pre-concert remarks and program notes will be given by Dr. Howard Pollack, UH John and Rebecca Moores Professor of Music History. The performance will showcase 13 faculty members from the string, wind, voice and keyboard areas. Works will include Dover Beach, Summer Music, Piano Sonata, Knoxville: Summer of 1915 and the String Quartet.
