Women's, Gender & Sexuality Studies (WGSS) and the Women's Resource Center are hosting an upcoming AAUW Salary Negotiation Workshop for female students, set for Friday November 1st, from 9am to noon in 210 AH. Research indicates that women tend not to negotiate their initial salaries as successfully as their male counterparts. This workshop addresses that, teaching negotiation skills for the first job (which sets the stage for lifetime salary patterns) and jobs thereafter. This event is FREE for female UH students. Seniors and graduate students are especially encouraged to attend.
Space is limited to 40 – RSVPs are required, to email@example.com.
