Session 1: Mondays and Wednesdays, June 19, 21, 26, 28 Session 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 20, 22, 27, 29 Join us at Blaffer Art Museum for Inside/Outside: Creating an Artscape, an art-making workshop where young artists imagine an art environment designed for public use. Individual and group projects in two and three dimensions—sculpture, painting, mural, multi-use art and more—are accompanied by tours of the UH Public Art Collection that teach children about contemporary art.
Led by Beverly Barrett, Lecturer in Global Studies at the Bauer College of Business and at the Hobby School of Public Affairs at the University of Houston, join us to gain insights about The Propeller Group exhibition. Find a new understanding about subjects explored in the work of the art collective. Bring your own lunch—after the talk we invite you to keep the conversations going at Blaffer’s cafe.
