Caving and Hiking Kickapoo Cavern

Explore Kickapoo Cavern State Park, which is home to over 20 known caves as well as Mexican free-tailed bats. Spend your days caving and observing the bat flight. No experience necessary. The registration deadline is 10/1. This three-day venture departs campus on 10/13 and returns 10/15.

Phi Beta Kappa Scholar Ayanna Thompson Lectures on Race and Performance

Visiting Phi Beta Kappa Scholar Dr. Ayanna Thompson is a featured lecturer for the Grand Challenges Forum at The Honors College. She will discuss Renaissance drama and issues of race in/as performance. Dr. Thompson teaches at George Washington University and is the author of the book Passing Strange: Shakespeare, Race, and Contemporary America.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Course

This three day course will prepare participants to for their lifeguard certification. The registration deadline is Oct 11. Register at Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Welcome desk.
