Family members and guests are welcome to attend New Student Orientation. Students attending a New Student Orientation should register expected guests at the time of the conference registration. This helps us plan for the event, but it is not a formal commitment. On the first day of conference Check-In, all guests' attendance will be confirmed and the guest fee will be placed on the student's account accordingly. Family members and guests are welcome at all conferences and, if attending, will follow a separate schedule of events. Family members and guests will attend programming with their student throughout the morning of the first day, with the day concluding for family members and guests at noon. Family members and guests are invited to attend the second day of family and guest programming, which will conclude at 2:30 p.m.
Family and Guest Schedule
Family members and guests will attend specific programs designed for them. Students will not be available to family members and guests until they have completed their advisement and registration process. Family members and guests are invited to attend the morning of Day 1 as well as specific family and guest programming on Day 2. If you're visiting the Houston area, please attend the Check-In with your student on Day 1. We'll provide information to prepare you for what to expect on the second day during Family Member and Guest Orientation.
Family members and guests of freshman students will receive an official schedule of events on the day of their conference.
