Blaffer Gallery: “Trespassing:
Houses x Artists”
“Trespassing: Houses x Artists” features designs of
houses imagined by nine contemporary artists in collaboration
with New York-based architecture firm, OpenOffice. The artists
were free to rethink the house as a spatial and social entity
and the projects are presented through a variety of strategies
including models, sketches, digital media and/or full-scale realization.

Stables: Solo Shoot”
“Fraser Stables: Solo Shoot” features single audio
dialogue synchronized with two different video projections reciting
the same story but at different moments in the narrative forcing
the viewer to piece together the narrative on his/her own. “Fraser

The Margarett Root Brown Houston Reading Series, co-sponsored
by Inprint and the University of Houston, continues 2004 with
two exceptional authors, Ellen Bryant Voight and Martin Espada
Readings. Voight is the author of six collections of poetry and
Teasdale Prize winner. Espada is the author of seven collections
of poetry and is winner of an American Book Award. There will
be an on-stage interview and book sale and signing after the readings.
